BabyTime

BabyTime, a lapsit storytime for babies and caregivers, will start on Wednesday, April 8-April 29, at 10:00 am. Rhymes, songs, and a story just for the littlest library users! The program lasts about 15 minutes, and then you are welcome to stay and play.  Call 353-6692 for more information.

Fiberstalking: fiber arts circle

Do you knit, crochet, cross-stitch, embroider, quilt, bead, or needlepoint? Come to the Norwood Public Library on Saturday, April 4th at 10:30am for Fiberstalking. Expert knitter Heather Nelson will be there to help beginners or those seeking help with specific issues. Bring a project to work on and chat, exchange patterns, share ideas and hang out with other crafters. We will also have a materials exchange- bring extra yarn, fabric or other supplies and trade with other crafters.

Read to the Dogs

Read to the Dogs is a reading motivation program for kids who are learning to read or just need the comfort of a furry friend to help them improve. Sign up for a 15 minute reading slot and sit down with a book and a trained therapy dog.

Lego Building Zone

Every 4th Saturday from 10:30-11:30 am, come to our Lego Building Zone! We'll have the blocks, you build, and your creation stays on display at the library all month long! The next Lego Building Zone program takes place on Saturday, April 25. See you there!

Ancestry Is Available at the Library

                          If genealogy is your hobby, we're here to help! Norwood Public Library now has Ancestry, the premier genealogy database, available for use on the library's public computers. Come in and take a tour of your family's history!                                               

Yoga at the Library

 

 

Certified Kripalu Yoga teacher Jean Benvenuto will be offering a six-week yoga class at the library starting Thursday April 16, from 6:30-7:45 pm. All levels of experience are welcome. Bring yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a bottle of water. $60 for six weeks. Register at the library or by calling 353-6692, or call Jean at 244-7953.
