Arts Around the World: Australian Boomerangs

July 11th: Australian Boomerangs

Norwood Public Library is hosting a FREE Arts Around the World summer art camp led by artist Kris
Rozelle for kids ages 5-up on Wednesdays at 1pm from July 11 th - Aug. 15 th . Kids will “journey” around
the world and explore art from many diverse cultures, tracking their experiences in a keepsake
passport. Projects include Australian boomerangs, African masks, Japanese paper marbling, French
metal etching & tooling, Italian mosaic stepping stones, and acrylic poured torched canvases.

Classes are free to the public as this project was made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a
regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of Governor Andrew M.
Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
