Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases within St.Lawrence County, we have made the difficult decision to suspend library appointments beginning on Friday, November 27, 2020. Curbside services will continue during the library's regular operating hours. Please note that curbside services include checkouts, printing requests, copying requests, and sending faxes. The Norwood Public Library is reverting to Phase 3* of it's reopening plan, as outlined below. We appreciate your patience as we endevour to provide excellent service while keeping our patrons and families safe.

At this level, a minimal number of library staff will be in the building, and those who are will not share equipment or workspaces. The rest of the staff should continue to work remotely. The library will offer
most (85%) programs and services online. Some no-contact in-person services will be offered, including curbside holds pickup, bulk loans to partner organizations, make and take crafts for children, limited
capacity outdoor programming with preregistration. The library will circulate physical materials following all associated safety precautions. In accordance with guidance from the CDC and IMLS, NCLS recommends a 96-hour quarantine period for materials coming back to the library.
