Getting a Library Card

Your North Country Library System card lets you borrow books, DVDs, CDs, ebooks and downloadable audiobooks, and access databases from Norwood Public Library and any library in our four-county system. Stop in at the library to register for a card. It's free, and all you need to get started is a valid photo ID with proof of your current address.

Interlibrary Loan

There's more to the library than what you see on the shelf! With a network of 66 member libraries, we can borrow from a wide range of materials. If you don't see what you're looking for here, ask us if we can place a hold for you. Deliveries come once a week, and materials borrowed from any NCLS library can be returned to Norwood Public Library, even if you checked them out somewhere else.

Electronic Resources

Borrow ebooks, audiobooks, and magazines through our digital catalog. Check our databases for research projects, or investigate New York's historic newspapers. Take a free class online. Your library, 24/7.
